We're gearing up to relaunch in a big way. In the meantime, here's a sneak peak at what we're up to.
Creative Services
While we were originally known for our unique t-shirts, we've recently collected all of our talents under one roof. The Human Effort is now available for web & graphic design, corporate identity & logo design, innovative marketing, copywriting and more. We bring our creative minds to the table to help you construct and deliver your message. If you're doing good work in the world, we want to make sure you keep doing it. Check out some of our efforts below.
Tangible Goods
Ahh… the goods. We're gearing up the presses to begin reissuing some of our most popular designs on shirts and other mediums. Be on the lookout for Anarchy, Grow & Content to be Flawed as well as a host of new designs being released in the coming weeks. Our shop will be up soon. Join our mailing list to get the heads up when we cut the ribbon.
Humans
Ingrid
Ingrid would be the cream cheese to our bagel, but she's vegan. The only person with legitimate talent in the room, she is responsible for all the illustrations, painting and anything else that seems somewhat professional in our portfolio. Once as a small child, she drank a bucket of paint and has been trying to get it out through brush and canvas ever since. Arguments that swallowing paint made her a little crazy have been debunked since she was obviously crazy enough to drink it in the first place. She saves the really good talent for herself.
Damian
Damian is the giant, throbbing brain who heads up our Portland office. Okay, he is our Portland office. Flash, graphic design and photography are just a handful of things he claims to have heard about at some point. He can beat your daddy at 9-ball and he believes that smart people should be constantly knocking each other up. Evidence of his existence can be found here.
Kevin
Kevin sits in front of his computer all day. We're not sure what he does (if anything), though he will often start talking in CSS and XHTML. At any given time, he's probably asleep (Fig. A). At the moment he has an unnatural love for The West Wing as is evidenced by a particular installment of his poorly-drawn but sometimes funny webcomic.
Jeremy
Jeremy bribed us to be listed as an honorary Human. (His credentials are suspect, but his check cleared.) Jeremy has solid experience with art, design and marketing, but he rarely contributes to anything but the bar tab. In addition to keeping us tipsy, Jeremy keeps us laughing and keeps us thinking. He thinks of himself as an "idea man." Evidence of this claim remains circumstantial, though he has started more projects than he has finished. If The Human Effort had a chairman of the board, Jeremy would have met him on several occasions.
